The Application Process — Step by Step
Step 1: Surface preparation. Preparation is 70% of the result. The surface must be stable, clean and completely dry. Cracks and unevenness are corrected. This step cannot be skipped.
Step 2: Primer. A special base coat that improves adhesion and prevents cracking.
Step 3: Microcement layers. Usually 2–3 layers with drying between each. Each layer refines the texture and adds depth.
Step 4: Sanding. Between layers and at the end — fine sanding creating the smooth surface.
Step 5: Finishing coating. The critical stage determining durability. Lacquer coating protects from moisture, stains and wear. Coating quality determines how many years the surface lasts.
How Long Does It Take?
Microcement work on one area (bathroom, living room floor) usually takes 5–8 days. It can't be rushed — each layer must dry sufficiently before the next. This is part of the process and cannot be shortened without affecting the result.

- Clean with a damp cloth and neutral soap — no harsh cleaning products
- Avoid acids (e.g. vinegar) which can damage the coating
- Stains — wipe immediately, don't let them dry
- Renew the finishing coating every 5–10 years depending on use
